First Visit

Ultrasound of your peripheral venous system by Sonographer in Dr’s rooms. Fee payable on day of visit (please see fee layout below).

Second Visit

Consult the Surgeon to evaluate ultrasound findings and to decide on the treatment option. Fee payable on day of visit (please see fee layout below). Please contact the reception at 021 975 0649 or email reception@fjr.co.za to book these appointments (Please note: Ultrasound and Consultation will be on different days).

There are a number of vein treatments available, therefore providing a detailed quotation before a consultation is difficult.

We can however provide you with an estimate on request based on previous billing history.

You are welcome to email your request to accounts@fjr.co.za with your medical aid name, plan type and medical aid number

Please note: Cosmetic procedures (Sclerotherapy) are not covered by any medical aid. These procedures are payable on the day of procedure.

This estimate can be used to obtain authorisation by the patient from his/her medical aid. During the authorisation process the medical aid needs to be informed that the procedure will be performed in the surgeon’s room (important to stress to the medical aid that the procedure is not done in theatre). This estimate can also be used to obtain a quotation from the medical aid. We may help with motivational letters, if required.

The total cost below can be used for Medical Aid and Private Patients (patients without medical aid/insurance).
